Emily Procter

 

American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on the 8th of October, 1968. She was Ainsley Hayes in the NBC political drama The West Wing (2000-2002; 2006) and Det. Calleigh Duquesne in a CBS police procedural drama titled CSI: Miami (2002–2012).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born October 8 1988. When she was a baby, she was adopted by William Procter (a general practitioner) and Barbara Jones (a volunteer worker). They raised her in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was 3 years old when her parents separated. Whit is her elder brother, and she is also an adopted child.



 



 Procter attended Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, Procter became a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter worked as a anchor for news at WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. Procter eventually earned diplomas in dance and journalism.
